Southern California Shizuoka Kenjinkai is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year. Over a century ago, people from Shizuoka immigrated to the United States and established deep roots here as Japanese Americans. Our Kenjinkai has played an important role in connecting Japanese Americans and Japanese individuals with ties to Shizuoka. To commemorate this milestone, a special Mount Fuji Climbing Tour is being organized by JEFLA. 

南加静岡県人会は今年で創立120周年を迎えました。100年以上前に静岡からアメリカへ移住してきた方々は、日系アメリカ人としてこの地に根を下ろしました。当県人会は、静岡にご縁のある日系アメリカ人や日本人同士をつなぐ場として、大切な役割を果たしています。この120周年を記念し、JEFLAさんの企画による「富士登山」の特別イベントが開催されます。

Join us to celebrate 120 years of our Kenjinkai with a beginner-friendly hike on Mt. Fuji! Led by local senior guides, this special event honors our heritage and community.
